hi,that is a good configuration.the video card will do well because you are using a lower resolution.if you had a higher monitor resolution you will need a stronger card.you might want to opt for 2.4 ghz or higher dual core cpu.most newer games need at least 2.4 ghz minimum to run.hp is an excellent brand.hp,dell,alienware,cyberpower are all trustworthy brands.stay away from compaq,emachines,gateway.850 seems about right for that configuration.
