What is married life like in Lebanese culture for the woman?

my sister (we are ukranian) has met a lebanese man 2months ago,she is 23 and its her first boyfriend, she thinks its true love and has decided to marry him to allow him to stop in ukraine,his visa runs out feb, and is now pregnant,she is so happy, and yet is so confused and angry that us, her family, think she is being nieve and silly. we want what is bese for her, thats all! He seems nice but somethings just dont stack up and all who meet him seem to come away with this feeling, so is there any1 out there who can satisfy us about lebanese marriage culture? what is it like? conservative? restricted? we have no idea and are very worried! help! he seems to want to keep changing cities to find work,has family all over the place that never appear and gets money from them, yet we have never met them! are we being silly or too protective? please help...
