Should I see my ex-fiance one last time before he leaves for Iraq?

I totally agree that they do try to detach themselves emotionally from their loved ones Don't put any pressure on him.Say a simple I love you,see you when you get back.And pray daily for his safe return.My son leaves for Iraq wed.
