I awoke this morning determined to find the perfect place to hang my tapestry. I drew back the curtains to illuminate the room, and began looking for the spot. "Aha!" I thought. "I'll hang it over the staircase. It'll look perfect there." So I started to drag the tapestry across the floor (it was too heavy to carry), and bumped into the coffee table. My favorite knick knack, a snowglobe I bought on vacation last year, fell to the floor and shattered into a million pieces. Frustrated, I dropped the tapestry on the floor, and thought, "I'll just wander around until I think of a better spot." I did some chores and went for a walk. I walked and walked until I was exhausted. "Well," I thought, "I'll just sit down and rest for a bit next to this fir tree." I must have started daydreaming, because the next thing I knew, the most handsome man I have ever seen was standing next to me. We chatted for a bit, and really hit it off. I told him about my troubles with my tapestry. He offered to come help me hang it. I took him up on his offer, and hand in hand we walked back to my house. In no time, the tapestry was hanging on the wall, and he and I were sitting on the deck enjoying a gl of wine. I think I met the love of my life. Who ever knew I'd be thankful that I had a hard time hanging up my tapesty?
